Partain's driver, Diana, arrives in a Dodge Ram 3500 dually, towing a 48' long trailer. No way she was going to back that sucker up my driveway! Since I am totaly unskilled in Reverse Trailer Dynamics, I wasn't about to argue with her.

Note to the lazy: the inboard end is a lot heavier. Give that to your brother-in-law.

My RV-7 was the 2nd of 3 kits to be delivered on this trip. Someone's RV-10 can be seen behind my fuselage.
|
It's all very well strapped and protected. The fuselage is full of the small parts. Lots of styrofoam, too, which I ended up wrapping in packing tape and turning into cushions for when I'm kneeling in the fuselage.

Wings temporarily housed in my workshop.

French doors installed in the basement just for the occasion.

This room was supposed to be a rec room. Well, there's going to be a LOT of recreation going on down here! There's also a wet bar in the rec room...I have christened it "The Bucking Bar." (Yes, that's with a "B".) Seeing my fridge full of beer down here, a buddy of mine said "Yes, it's important to have your beer right next to your power tools."
